YB27 raw-data 2D LiDAR provides flexible scan-data output through Ethernet UDP or RS232, with model options for different detection ranges, angular resolutions and scan frequencies. Selected CD/HD models also combine Ethernet data with configurable detection zones and direct PNP/NPN switching outputs.
Raw LiDAR Data for Flexible System Integration
YB27 raw-data models provide 2D scan measurements including distance and echo intensity. Angular position is determined from the scan geometry and configured angular resolution, allowing host software to reconstruct and process the scan according to the application.
Object Distance
Measures the radial distance from the LiDAR to detected targets across the scanning field.
Position Within the Scan
Angular position is determined from the scan geometry, angular resolution and measurement-point position within the 270° scanning field.
Return Intensity
Provides echo intensity information that can support target analysis and application-specific processing.
Selected CD/HD models also provide configurable detection zones, 3 PNP/NPN switching outputs, 4 external inputs and up to 16 zone groups for systems that require both host-side LiDAR processing and direct machine I/O.

07 Can YB27 be used for AGV or AMR navigation?
Yes. Ethernet Raw Data models can provide 2D LiDAR scan information to an AGV or AMR navigation controller for environmental perception, localization and navigation processing.
The navigation algorithm and localization logic are handled by the host system rather than by the LiDAR itself.

Choose CE or HE when Ethernet raw scan data is the primary requirement. Choose CR when your system requires RS232. Choose CD or HD when you need Ethernet raw data together with configurable PNP/NPN switching outputs.
Within each group, select the required detection range, angular resolution and scan frequency according to your application.
10 Is the YB27 a safety laser scanner?
No. YB27 is a 2D LiDAR platform for detection, navigation, positioning, interactive sensing and industrial integration. It should not be used as a certified personnel-protection safety device.
