Raw LiDAR Data for Flexible System Integration

YB27 raw-data models provide 2D scan measurements including distance and echo intensity. Angular position is determined from the scan geometry and configured angular resolution, allowing host software to reconstruct and process the scan according to the application.

Available scan frequency also depends on the selected angular resolution, so the individual model specification should be checked before final selection.

07 Can YB27 be used for AGV or AMR navigation?

Yes. Ethernet Raw Data models can provide 2D LiDAR scan information to an AGV or AMR navigation controller for environmental perception, localization and navigation processing.

The navigation algorithm and localization logic are handled by the host system rather than by the LiDAR itself.

08 Can YB27 be used for interactive walls and interactive games?

Yes. YB27 scan data can be processed by interactive software to determine the position of people, hands or objects within a monitored area. This makes it suitable for applications such as interactive walls, interactive projection, interactive games and other large-area touchless experiences.

Application performance depends on the installation geometry, target characteristics, software algorithm and required positioning accuracy.

09 How do I choose between CE, HE, CR, CD and HD models?

Choose CE or HE when Ethernet raw scan data is the primary requirement. Choose CR when your system requires RS232. Choose CD or HD when you need Ethernet raw data together with configurable PNP/NPN switching outputs.

Within each group, select the required detection range, angular resolution and scan frequency according to your application.

10 Is the YB27 a safety laser scanner?

No. YB27 is a 2D LiDAR platform for detection, navigation, positioning, interactive sensing and industrial integration. It should not be used as a certified personnel-protection safety device.
