SH27-03D Safety Laser Scanner
3 m Protective Range with Ethernet Raw Scan Data Output
The SH27-03D combines safety laser scanning with Ethernet raw scan-data output, providing a 3 m protective range for AGV, AMR and industrial safeguarding applications.
Safety Protection and Ethernet Raw Scan Data in One Scanner
The SH27-03D combines safety laser scanning with non-safety Ethernet raw scan-data output, allowing one scanner to support both safeguarding and higher-level AGV data applications.
3 m Protective Monitoring
Safety-related protective monitoring is implemented through PNP OSSD outputs for AGV, AMR, machine and industrial area safeguarding.
- 3 m protective range
- PNP OSSD safety outputs
- Configurable protective fields
- Suitable for mobile and stationary safeguarding
Raw Scan Data for Higher-Level AGV Functions
Ethernet output provides raw scan data that can be used by higher-level AGV systems for navigation, localization or mapping-related functions.
- Distance data
- Angle data
- Echo intensity data
- Ethernet raw scan-data output
Protective and Warning Fields in Protective + Warning Mode
In Protective + Warning Mode, the SH27-03D combines a safety-related protective field with non-safety warning fields for pre-warning and signaling functions.
3 m Protective Zone
The protective zone is used for safety-related monitoring. When an object is detected in the active protective field, the relevant OSSD output switches OFF.
10 m Warning Zone
The warning fields can be used for non-safety pre-warning or signaling functions before an object reaches the protective field.
Flexible Protective Fields for Changing Operating Conditions
The SH27-03D supports up to 64 configurable zone sets, allowing the active monitoring field to be adapted to different machine states, travel directions and AGV operating conditions.
Configurable Zone Sets
Preconfigured field shapes can be stored and selected according to the operating condition of the machine or mobile platform.
Switch Fields by Control Inputs
Preconfigured zone sets can be selected through control inputs to change the active monitoring field according to machine states or operating modes.
Speed-Dependent Protective Field Switching
Dynamic control inputs can be used with incremental encoder signals to select protective fields according to AGV travel speed.
Two Independent Protective Zones
Two protective zones can be monitored independently, with each zone assigned to its corresponding OSSD output pair.
Two Safety Field Operating Modes
The SH27-03D supports two field operating modes for different safeguarding requirements: Protective Zone + Warning Zone Mode and Dual Protective Zone Mode.
Protective Zone with Warning Zones
In this mode, one safety-related protective zone is used together with two non-safety warning zones for pre-warning and signaling functions.
Two Independent Protective Zones
In Dual Protective Zone Mode, two safety-related protective zones are monitored independently through their corresponding OSSD output pairs.
