ENT Safety Light Curtain Model Selector

Select a standard ENT safety light curtain in three steps: choose the required resolution, operating distance and protection height.

Selection Principle

Resolution first. Operating distance second. Protection height third. These three parameters define the standard ENT model code. Installation accessories and cable length are confirmed separately according to the machine and project.

How the Selector Works

Three Parameters to Identify the ENT Model

The selector uses the standard ENT model list to generate the matching model after all three parameters are selected.

Step 1 · Resolution

Choose ENT14, ENT25 or ENT45

Select the required sensing resolution according to the safeguarding requirement and machine risk assessment.

ENT14 · 14 mm
ENT25 · 25 mm
ENT45 · 45 mm
Step 2 · Operating Distance

Select the Emitter-to-Receiver Distance

Operating distance means the separation between the emitter and receiver.

C · 0–5 m
A · 0–10 m
B · 0–16 m
Step 3 · Protection Height

Select the Required Protected Height

The available standard protection-height list changes according to the selected ENT resolution.

ENT14 / ENT25 · 120–1960 mm
ENT45 · 120–3960 mm
Custom configurations: protection heights and operating distances outside the standard model list can be discussed for project requirements. Mounting brackets and cable length should be confirmed separately with our sales engineer.
02 · Interactive Model Selector

Find Your Standard ENT Model

Select the resolution, operating distance and protection height. The selector will generate the matching standard ENT model code.

1. Select the required resolution
Resolution selection should be based on the safeguarding requirement and machine risk assessment.
2. Select the required operating distance
Operating distance is the physical distance between the emitter and receiver.
3. Select the required protection height
The available standard heights are loaded from the selected ENT series model list.
Standard protection-height options will appear after ENT14, ENT25 or ENT45 is selected.

Standard model result: this model code is generated from the standard ENT model list. Mounting brackets, cable length and any project-specific configuration should be confirmed separately with our sales engineer.
Need a non-standard configuration?

Protection heights and operating distances outside the standard model list can be customized according to project requirements. Operating distance refers to the distance between the emitter and receiver. Mounting brackets and cable length should be discussed separately with our sales engineer.

03 · Model Code

How to Read an ENT Model Code

The standard ENT model code combines the resolution platform, operating-distance class and protection height.

Example Standard Model
ENT14-A1080
ENT14

Resolution Platform

ENT14 identifies the 14 mm resolution platform.

A

Operating-Distance Class

A identifies a standard operating distance of 0–10 m between the emitter and receiver.

1080

Protection Height

1080 identifies a standard 1080 mm protection height.

Standard Operating-Distance Codes
C 0–5 m
A 0–10 m
B 0–16 m

Model-code note: the selector generates the standard base model from resolution, operating distance and protection height. Mounting brackets, cable length and other project-specific configuration should be confirmed separately with our sales engineer.

04 · Selection Notes

Final Checks Before Ordering

The selector identifies the standard base model. Final project details should still be confirmed before ordering.

01 · Resolution

Select Resolution by Safeguarding Need

Choose 14 mm, 25 mm or 45 mm resolution according to the required safeguarding function, access risk and machine risk assessment.

02 · Custom Dimensions

Non-Standard Sizes Can Be Discussed

Protection heights and emitter-to-receiver operating distances outside the standard model list can be customized for project requirements.

03 · Accessories

Confirm Brackets and Cable Length Separately

Mounting brackets and cable length depend on the installation and project configuration and should be confirmed separately with our sales engineer.

Important: the model selector generates the standard ENT base model from resolution, operating distance and protection height. It does not replace machine risk assessment, safety-distance calculation or final engineering verification.

05 · FAQ & Next Steps

ENT Model Selector FAQ

These notes explain the standard model-selection logic and when project-specific confirmation is still required.

What is the operating distance of a safety light curtain?

Operating distance is the distance between the emitter and receiver. Standard ENT operating-distance classes in this selector are C = 0–5 m, A = 0–10 m and B = 0–16 m.

Can the protection height be customized?

Yes. The selector shows the standard protection heights from the current ENT model list. Other protection heights can be discussed for project requirements.

Can the operating distance be customized?

Yes. Operating distances outside the standard C, A and B ranges can be discussed for project requirements. Final feasibility and configuration should be confirmed with our sales engineer.

Are mounting brackets and cable length included in the ENT model code?

No. The selector generates the standard base model from resolution, operating distance and protection height. Mounting brackets and cable length are confirmed separately according to the installation and project.
