Two Safety Field Operating Modes
The SH27-03S supports two field operating modes for different safeguarding requirements: Protective Zone + Warning Zone Mode and Dual Protective Zone Mode.

In this mode, one safety-related protective zone is used together with two non-safety warning zones for pre-warning and signaling functions.

What is the difference between SH27-03S and SH27-03D?
Both models provide a 3 m protective range and PNP OSSD safety outputs.
The SH27-03D additionally provides Ethernet raw scan-data output,
while the SH27-03S is the safety-only configuration without Ethernet raw data output.
What is the protective range of the SH27-03S?
The SH27-03S has a 3 m protective range at 1.8% reflectivity.
Is the 10 m warning zone safety-related?
No. Warning zones are non-safety-related and must not be used
